At the launching ceremony of the Vietnam Institute of Green Urban Research and Development, Associate Professor, Doctor, Excellence Teacher Le Huyen, President of Vietnam Design Association, officially handed over the decision. Mr. Nguyen Huu Hieu, General Director of ACI Vietnam, is the Director.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director Nguyen Huu Hieu emphasized that the Vietnam Institute of Green Urban Research and Development was born with the desire to be one of the units of scientific research and technology transfer in the field of broadcasting, urban development; is a consultancy and implementation of urban projects, green buildings, energy efficiency; To study and propose solutions to improve microclimate conditions for architectural works suitable to each locality, improve the environment and quality of life for people; training and organizing seminars on urban and architectural fields; Cooperate with organizations and individuals at home and abroad to improve their working capacity with the objective of contributing to the development of Vietnamese architecture.

Together with the decision to appoint the director, the Association's leaders also handed over the decision to appoint four deputy directors, namely: Master, Truong Duy Anh Architects; Master, journalist Pham Minh Duong; Master, Architect Nguyen Hai Long; Graphic instructor Le Van Duan. Also at the ceremony, the Faculty of Science and the Council of Advisors of the Institute launched a number of professors, doctors and experts in the field of architecture, planning, green building, communication and foreign affairs. ... to support and promote the development of the Institute in the future with the scale of domestic and international cooperation.

It is known that the Vietnam Design Association has established 20 units under the Association with nearly 400 members operating nationwide and international cooperation with many countries to serve the needs of the development of society.

It is expected that the establishment of the Vietnam Greenhouse Research and Development Institute to catch up with the trend and direction of sustainable development.
